Münzhandlung Ritter was founded in 1968 by Jürgen Ritter. As a world-renowned coin expert and appraiser, he guided the fortunes of Münzhandlung Ritter until his death in 2021. Jürgen Kühnen then took over the management of Münzhandlung Ritter, which is still family-owned today. For many years he also worked as a publicly appointed and sworn expert for coins of the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
Together with his team, he continues to run the traditional Düsseldorf company in the spirit of its founder, who always regarded fair service to customers as the decisive criterion for the long-term success of his coin shop.
