Juliusturm – Spandau Citadel

Juliusturm (Julius Tower) is part of the Spandau Citadel, one of the most important and best-preserved Renaissance fortresses in Europe. Various guided tours can be booked through the Citadel’s website. 

The tower itself was built some three hundred years before the citadel, in the 13th century, and is best known in the numismatic world for housing the Imperial Treasury until the First World War.
