It is the birthplace of the American Numismatic Society, which established itself early on as one of the leading scholarly associations of coin collectors, dealers, scholars and curators. No wonder the NYINC could not find a better location than New York. After all, the NYINC is the largest coin convention in the United States specialising in ancient and world coins.
