Building of Banco de España

The building of Banco de España is one of the most beautiful of the Madrid Bell Époque. It is really worth taking a good look at this building from all directions and, if possible, marvelling at the monumental staircase inside. A tip for all numismatists who are also interested in architecture: throughout Spain, the branches of the Spanish National Bank are mostly housed in historic buildings, sometimes classic, sometimes modern – but always fascinating!
