The Madrid Museo Arqueológico Nacional is one of the largest museums in Spain. The museum’s collection is in no way inferior to the largest and most famous collections in Europe, but is unfortunately often overlooked by visitors to Madrid in favour of the much more famous Prado Museum. Please don’t make this mistake. After all, coin collection of Museo Arqueológico Nacional is also one of the largest in the world with around 300,000 objects!
